Certifications and Registrations
In keeping with the highest standards of quality, Imprex holds certifications from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME); The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors; Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA); and ISO 9001:2015.
ASME U-Stamp: The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) provides rules for the design, fabrication, installation, inspection, care, and use of boilers, pressure vessels and nuclear components. The code also includes standards on materials, welding and brazing procedures and qualifications, nondestructive examination, and nuclear in-service inspection.
This acceptance and certification is symbolized by the “U Stamp” for pressure vessels. The U Code Symbol on a vessel is used to confirm that the stamped item is in conformance to the latest edition of the Code and that the pressure vessel has been designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME.
ASME R-Stamp: The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors Certificate of Authorization and R symbol stamp allows Imprex to repair and/or alter boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items.
The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors: The National Board requires certain uniform quality standards be achieved certifying the manufacturing, testing, and inspection process. This certification acknowledges to owners, users, and public safety jurisdictional authorities registered items have been inspected by National Board-commissioned inspectors and built to required standards. The purpose of National Board registration is to promote safety and document specific equipment design and construction details for future use. It takes place when the manufacturer submits data reports to the National Board for items stamped with National Board numbers.
Data reports provide an essential form of customer service over the life of the equipment – a value-added quality of significant worth to the owner or user.
ISO 9001:2015: ISO 9000 is a quality management standard that presents guidelines intended to increase business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
